innovation

Treehouse works with the third sector to develop new marketing and fundraising products.

We have worked with organisations like Cancer Research UK, Barnardo’s, ActionAid and Save the Children to develop products designed to add between half to two million pounds of net income per annum.

We believe innovation is the new face of fundraising for three key reasons:

1. Growth. Fundraising is a very mature market in the UK. Innovation offers new income that cannot be obtained through current programmes.
2. Differentiation. Too many charities add what we call ‘me too’ programmes, simply copying what other people are doing. Innovation creates brand specific products that are optimized to make money for the organization and are hard for others to copy.
3. A solution for a rapidly changing world. Solely relying on tried and tested fundraising is a risky business. Older donors are a dying breed. Innovation helps charities be relevant to today’s and tomorrow’s donors.

Although we have primarily worked on developing new fundraising products, we have also used innovation techniques to develop new services and campaigns as well.
